The exhibition takes its point of depar ture in Ida Ellinor ’s exploration of what lies beneath the visible. With a persistent curiosity toward the earth, Ida Ellinor moves slowly into its layers. Not to explain, but to be within what is already there. To feel that which sustains. What does it mean to be grounded? To f ind calm in the shif t between light and darkness? With Ida Ellinor, Substrata unfolds as a quiet and sensuous space.

Something stable, offering the possibility to pause and find stillness. In dialogue with this, Leïla Bélangeon Bouaziz’s sound sculpture emerges as a living system, where matter becomes memory, code becomes organism, and sound becomes space. When the movements of the body resonate with a responsive coded object, a question arises: how do we perceive an exchange without control? Across the exhibition, something is formed and re -formed through time, repetition, and encounters. Ida Ellinor gives us space to pause, Leila Belangeon Bouaziz gives us substance to listen to. To be with what is. And to feel the earth beneath it all.
